Lexus for the Little Ones
The MAP Foundation recently celebrated the 10th Annual Lexus for the Little Ones Raffle, which raises funds for Kentucky Children's Hospital Integrative Medicine & Health Services, the MAP Endowment Fund for Excellence in Advanced Pediatric Care and other causes. For this event, The MAP Foundation is proud to partner with Lexus of Lexington, who donates a brand new Lexus vehicle to be raffled off to one lucky winner each year. Over the last ten years, Lexus for the Little Ones has contributed more than $1 million to Kentucky Children's Hospital; specifically for the renovation of the pediatric oncology Ocean Pod; for increased Integrative Medicine & Health services focused on pediatric patients and families at KCH, and for the MAP Endowment Fund for Excellence in Advanced Pediatric Care in UK HealthCare.
Integrative Medicine & Health
UKCH's Integrative Medicine & Health program is a holistic approach to health and healing that uses traditional medical therapies and practices, while also recognizing the interaction between the patient's mind, body and spirit. The focus is on the whole person using all appropriate therapies, health care expertise and disciplines to achieve optimal health and healing.
Some of these offered services include:
- Animal-assisted therapy
- Art therapy
- Massage
- Yoga
